![]() If you "die" in a boss fight the game will just pick you back up and you literally continue where you lost, resuming the fight. Like.I really have nothing but praise for how the developers did it. ![]() The boss fights have an intense rhythmitic soundtrack for each where the bosses will fight to the beat of the music which is so well done. The music is fantastic and will pick up tempo depending on the location you are in the game (Dessert Peaks and Banquet Rainforest have some of my most favorite soundtracks). This game also has story-based dungeons similar to classic Zelda games. Lastly.the boss fights and the game's soundtrack, yes the game has boss battles. No language or anything sexual (except for a character shouting that they're bisexual), but this game will have many serious moments. I will say this, this game isn't directed towards a much younger audience unless a parent is helping them. In short, your character inherits Chicory's brush that's sitting outside of her bedroom door (aka your character straight up just steals it and acts like a wielder) right at the start and the game goes directly from there with it's emotional, hilarious, serious, dark, and irl influential moments. I named mine Carne Asada (I shortened her name to Carne though which is the Spanish term for beans and carne asada is short for beef steak in Spanish) Your character speaks by themselves in nearly every dialogue situation, but you'll be prompted to select choices during most dialogue segments. The game takes place in a land called Picnic (all locations and animal anthros are named after different types of food, spices and food dishes which also includes your main character who is named Pizza canonically) and you start out by playing an anthro poodle that you have to give a food nickname to at the start. Just beware of the game's irl messages through character dialogue that can hit pretty hard for the emotionally weak. I would rather you guys experience this whole story yourself only if the game interest you. Behind this game's cutesy artstyle lies a serious message that portrays the dark side of the human heart and our actions even though the game's world is comprised of talking anthropomorphic animals only that live and act like humans do. I won't spoil the whole story since some very interesting and unexpected plot twist happen in it. There's literally a conversation in the game where two characters are arguing over how to fight capitalism (fighting the system in general) in one of the game's towns and it was.very interesting to read the whole thing. Marzipan, slushie, Pickles, Quince and the bird anthro writing a novel in Luncheon are a few of my favorites. ![]() There are quite a lot of side characters that are fun to engage with that will say either some very hilarious things or very serious things or in-between. ![]() Not a completely new and mind-blowing story no, but one with intrigue and engagement that really makes you want to see what happens till the very end with how the game's plot and dialogue is portrayed. I just finished beating it just very recently and it has a very good story. This is their canon looks before I make changes because I can't Chicory's shorts for one.Ĭhicory is a fantastic game. The outfit she's wearing is exactly the outfit I had her wear for at least 40-50% of the game before I found a lot more outfits later on. The protagonist is with her in this picture which you can name at the beginning (and she can talk on her own thankfully). You can learn more about that in our guide, How to Open the Teatime Meadows Door.1st time drawing them so they'll look somewhat off as usual, most notably Chicory (Chicory is the bunny anthro for those who don't know). Visit her at her house and she’ll reveal the code for the Teatime Meadows door. Once you select the one you want, you’ll receive the Radish’s Art Decor! If you speak to Beetroot at the showcase, she’ll mention having something special to show you. You can go up and view each one before you make your final selection. Speak to Radish and she’ll offer you to take one of her paintings. Go to the Luncheon cafe and you’ll see a crowd of folks viewing Radish’s art. Upon reading the letter, Radish learns that the Luncheon cafe showcases works from amateur artists, and decides to give it a shot. Return to Radish with the Rejection Letter. Speak to Marzipan and she’ll inform you that they don’t display amateur work at the gallery. Offer to take her portfolio to Marzipan the Master Gallery’s Curator in Elevenses. Once you have the climbing ability, speak to Radish and she’ll tell you what’s been bothering her. To reach the roof and speak to Radish, you’ll need to complete Chapter 4 - Into the Depths and obtain the climbing ability.
